Please also make sure that you have been in touch with me regarding your desired postal address for the artist to send the work your way. This can be done via the lucky charm email luckycharmfundraiser@gmail.com

If you have not been a successful bidder but would still like to make a donation, simply follow the same prompts given above and contribute any size donation you would like to make. Every dollar counts!

I would like to have all payments processed with 3-4 working days (by Wed 27th April), so that postage of works can be arranged and finalised promptly. If you have difficulty in making this deadline, please email me to discuss. Any items left unpaid for and undiscussed after this time will be offered to the next bidder.

Many thanks again and please do not hesitate in contacting me if you have any further queries.

Vicki Mason - RED SPEAR LEAVES AND BUD PENDANT

You are bidding on a striking pendant by highly regarded and established New Zealand born, Melbourne based contemporary jeweller, Vicki Mason.

In her signature style, Vicki cuts and coils her material of choice, nylon, into astounding graphic botanical formations. Truly a treasure to behold.

Title: Red spear leaves and bud
Materials: PVC, powder coated brass, nylon
Dimensions: pendant 4.2 x 2.8 x 2.8 cm
Photographer – Terence Bogue
Vicki says:
"This dual ended pendant made from remnant plastics from the stationary industry is ambiguous and bold. Reminiscent of an exotic bud from some unknown place it captures the essence of plant forms about the blossom. "

Vicki Mason has been making innovative jewellery for 15 years. She is in the last stages of completing her Master of Philosophy degree (Research) at ANU in Gold and Silver Smithing. She has a long standing love affair with plants, plastic, metal, textiles and colour and is interested in our changing attitudes to nature and the story telling ability of jewellery.
