As a winning bidder making a payment: you must include the name you have used to place your bid, the title of the work you are paying for and the amount being paid. Please also make sure that you have been in touch with me regarding your desired postal address for the artist to send the work your way. This can be done via the lucky charm email luckycharmfundraiser@gmail.com

If you have not been a successful bidder but would still like to make a donation, simply follow the same prompts given above and contribute any size donation you would like to make. Every dollar counts!

I would like to have all payments processed with 3-4 working days (by Wed 27th April), so that postage of works can be arranged and finalised promptly. If you have difficulty in making this deadline, please email me to discuss. Any items left unpaid for and undiscussed after this time will be offered to the next bidder.

Many thanks again and please do not hesitate in contacting me if you have any further queries.

Cheers,
Natalia

Nadine Treister - RIVER NILE EARRINGS

Whoa, put your sunnies on, ladies and gentleman, as we float down the River Nile.
You are bidding on a vibrant pair of earrings by Melbourne contemporary jeweller Nadine Treister.

Title: River Nile
Material: Anodised Aluminium, Sterling Silver, Polymer Clay
Dimensions: 3cm x 2cm (aluminium) + 2cm swing drop (sterling silver / polymer clay)
NB: Full Sterling Silver backing, earring posts and butterfly

Once upon a time, Nadine found an urging desire to digress away from her work as an interior designer and rather, concentrate on working more on a 1:1 scale with her hands. With a keen eye for detail, a strong conceptual vocabulary and her colourful energy, Treister traded in her Apple Mac for ancient silversmith tools. Current days sees her surrounded with inspirational mediums and materials that enable her to explore and experiment in a ‘playtime’ of sorts, which result in an ever growing plethora of wearable sculptural objects. Whilst there is a practical and functional element to Nadine’s work, there is also an underlying humour surrounding it; a desire to create the obscure but beautiful. Nadine work chooses to explore and challenge conventional jewellery practice using a combination of precious metals and alternative materials, which reveal in their conception, Nadine’s unique sensibility to materiality, texture and colour.

Nadine hopes these 'River Nile' earrings can raise 0.0001% of Mark Zuckerberg profit share from 2010.
